Phonics Falls began as a student-run venture at Babson College with one goal: to make learning to read fun and effective.

After talking with parents and educators, we saw a common challenge—kids often struggle with phonics when learning feels repetitive or overwhelming. We knew phonics is essential, but we also knew kids learn best through play.

So we created Phonics Falls, a phonics-based card game that helps children build early reading skills by practicing sounds, patterns, and word building in a hands-on, engaging way.

Designed by students and shaped by real classroom and family feedback, Phonics Falls turns reading practice into play, building confidence one card at a time.
